Grand Lodge of Oklahoma - Wardens Retreat
Your Grand Lodge Officers will be hosting a series of Wardens Retreats
in the coming months. Sessions are planned for the Akdar Shrine Center
in Tulsa on August 16th, the India Shrine Center in Oklahoma City on
September 27th and at Cordell Masonic Lodge No. 127 in Cordell on
October 18th. This program is open to anyone who is interested in lodge
operations or may want to get into the line of his lodge at some time
in the future. However, the course content will be focused on lodge
operations for sitting Lodge officers, especially Wardens, Treasurers
and Secretaries. Your Deputy Grand Master, Senior Grand Warden, Junior
Grand Warden, Grand Treasurer, Grand Secretary and Grand Lecturer will
each be presenting material at these events. Details will be
forthcoming in the near future. In the meantime, put these dates on
your calendar. These sessions will be something you do not want to miss.

McAlester Scottish Rite - Sickness and Distress
It has pleased Almighty God to remove from our midst the soul of our
brother, Albert L. Barnett, KCCH on May 17, 2025. Brother Barnett has
been faithful and devoted member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish
Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction of the United States of
America, Orient of Oklahoma, Valley of McAlester since March 20, 1999.
He received his Knights Commander Court of Honour December 11, 2005.
Brother Barnett has earned the love and esteem of his Masonic Brethren
everywhere: Therefore, be it resolved, that the Executive Committee of
the Valley of McAlester expresses wholehearted sympathy to the family
of our departed brother, and be it further resolved, that we will keep
Brother Barnett in our memories. May he rest in eternal peace. Funeral
services for Brother Al is Saturday May 31 at Bishop Funeral Service at
1030 A.M. Burial will be at Ulan Cemetery in the Ulan community.

Oklahoma City Lodge #36 - Chance to Advance/Perpetual Path
We will host the 'Chance to Advance/Perpetual Path' degrees beginning
at 8:30 AM. The Trestle Board has been set and submitted to the Grand
Lecturer but we can make minor changes subject to availability.
Candidates are limited to 10 but we are campaigning for more.
Remember, Candidate registrations should be submitted to Grand Lodge at
least 10 days in advance and should be accompanied by 2 of your
Members. We have 5 Candidates already. There should be coffee and
maybe some donuts for the early nourishment. Lunch will be provided
for @$10.00 each. It is important for us to attend these degrees in

Monday June 9th OKC #36 will be presenting the Master Mason 2nd and 3rd
explanatory lectures, Given by Worshipful Brothers Dan Pryor and Jason
Elsasser. This is open to all Master Mason's....a wonderful opportunity
for all chance to advance candidates to be given the explanatory
Lectures. We usually gather around 3pm for fellowship and cigars on
the patio followed by dinner at 6pm then the Lectures. Oklahoma City

India Shrine - Charity Smokes Cigar & Steak Dinner
This years Charity Smokes Cigar & Steak Dinner is scheduled for June
13th. Doors open at 6:00 PM. Table of 8 is $1,000 or $125 a seat.
Includes Cigars, a fabulous Steak Dinner and Adult beverages. Proceeds
are split between the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport and the Guthrie
Temple Improvement Fund. Both excellent Charities. To reserve your
